SciGirls Codes is a program funded by the National Science Foundation which engages middle school girls from around the country in computational thinking and coding. This workshop will highlight research-based best practices for engaging girls in STEM and give participants a chance to get hands on with the SciGirls code curriculum. Participants will leave with strategies for creating a welcoming computational thinking environment for girls, new approaches to teaching computational thinking,
