In this session we will explore the differences between student engagement and compiance. Participants will receive practical strategies backed by learning science for engaging learners in rigorous academic work . Participants will leave feeling empowered, engaged, and motivated to try new strategies for maximizing student engagement in their own classrooms. The strategies explored in this session work for team meetings, professional learning sessions, and parent engagement events as well.
