Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

We describe use of the Techscaffold.com, a tool to help teachers make decisions for selecting relevant apps to foster learning according to three components. In Apps: teachers select apps from database of a thousand apps based on formulating objectives, subject, grade level, expertise required, platform, and costs. In Community, teachers share user ratings of and recommendations for certain apps based on different criteria. In Projects: users upload projects illustrating use of apps in the classroom. The platform can be tailored for the needs of particular schools or university methods courses. Particpants will leave with a good understanding of Techscaffold.com and how to effectively select apps for working with students.
