This session will outline how Northeast Metro 916 Intermediate School District set up an online course for onboarding all new staff. We will offer support for other districts interested in creating similar systems, discuss some of our F.A.I.Ls (First Attempt In Learning) and S.A.I.Ls (Subsequent Attempts In Learning), and look at the future of Schoology (or other LMSs) for onboarding, mentorship and professional development in our district. We will provide resources, suggestions, and advice to session attendees that would assist in creating similar systems in their districts.
