A key component of digital citizenship is to make sure students understand how to be kind and compassionate when using social media. In this session participants will learn about basic concepts on how to tweet and use Twitter to communicate your message sincerely and truthfully. Since Twitter has been used widely to broadcast misinformation, keys to effectively tweeting truth will be explored and upheld and the methods used to propel propaganda will be examined and exposed.
