I will show you how I teach my beginning high school students to create good movies. By incorporating best practices into my blended offering video course I have found a nice balance of academic rigor, students investment, and student success at the next level. My course focuses on Adobe Premiere Pro CS6, but the curriculum design principles are taken from Culturally Responsive Teaching , Assessment for Learning, ISTE, and Displine Based Art Education. I will go through resources, structures, examples, and overview my entire trimester schedule and guiding principles.
