Culturally relevant education empowers students to maintain their cultural integrity and identity while achieving academic success. By implementing technology in the classroom, students voice and choice are enhanced through real world relevant, authentic learning experiences. In this session, participants will learn more about the importance of culturally relevant pedagogy in diverse classrooms, and will obtain strategies for implementing iPad technology through various sample lessons.
