Stop Motion Math in Elementary

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Stop motion video creation can be a powerful tool for slowing students down to think about a mathematical process. Hear from both a classroom teacher and elementary media specialist as they share their experience from multiple successful projects. This session will include: student work/examples from real K/4/5 projects, demonstrations of the specific tools/process used, list of applicable MN state Art/Math/ELA standards, and many other helpful resources. While examples are from elementary, the method can also be easily adapted for higher grade levels.
