Those of us who are connected educators, recognize the power of it. In this session, we will look at the various ways we can teach digital citizenship in context by having kids run a class social media account. We will look at best practices as well as inspiring ways to show your kids that social media can be used to learn & share learning, address social inequality, and be a more positive influence in the lives of others. Let’s stop focusing on what kids CAN’T do online and focus on what they CAN do and how they can make a difference in the world.
